A new pot of funding is being made available to organisations which can help construction leaders to embrace digital change.
The Construction Industry Training Board is inviting bids for funds from a range of companies and organisations with digital expertise and can help with leading innovation projects and programmes.
According to the CITB, the UK’s construction industry is lagging behind when it comes to embracing technology to improve efficiency and productivity.
Challenges facing the sector it says are a lack of understanding of the business opportunities digital transformation brings and the leadership required to point out the benefits of why investment is needed.
The funding presents opportunities for software development companies, management consultancies, leadership think tanks, higher education institutions and non-profit organisations with digital innovation programmes.
